Hey everyone! So, I have some news...I finally found out about my new host family yayayayayayayayayayaya!!!!!!! Right now I'm just going to give you guys a little bit of information about where I will be staying while I'm in Japan. My host family consists of a father (Toru Miyoshi), a mother (Tomoko Miyoshi), a 15 year old sister (Sakura Miyoshi), and a 14 year old brother (Tatsuya Miyoshi) and they live in Takatsuki-shi, Osaka-fu. I will also be attending N.T. International Academy in Kita-fu, Osaka-fu. Unfortunately I do not know a lot about my host family because they didn't get to fill in their questionnaire but, they seem like a very modern Japanese family and I will be sending them an email this weekend (with the help of my Japanese friend)!
Wow its so crazy to think that I will be leaving in less than 2 weeks! On June 26th I will leave on a plane to Los Angeles, California where I will stay for an orientation and then leave the next day to Tokyo and, then from Tokyo to Nagoya. Crazy right? Talk about jet lag! Hopefully next week I will post again on how I'm packing and getting prepared now that my trip is just around the corner.
